The innovative Tokyo Toilet Project imagines public toilets in Shibuya City, Tokyo, Japan in a whole new way! Toilets are a symbol of Japan's world-renowned hospitality culture. These public toilets were redesigned in 17 locations throughout Shibuya with the help of 16 creators invited from around the world.
We set out on a glorious sunny Sunday afternoon stroll to inspect, and use, about half of the installations, each one with a unique expression of form and function. Here's out highlights. Enjoy! (Wash your hands when finished!)
