Istanbul, Turkiye — MQ Hotel Suites
/Escape the concrete jungle of most airport hotel areas! This is one of the best airport hotels ever. Stayed 2 nights mid-September 2023. Great sea suite across from Black Sea with big balcony (in the Karaburun area of greater Istanbul. Only 20-30 minutes via convenient hotel shuttle (€15/person). Olga the masseuse in the spa (hammam opening soon) is very good. Ahmet at front desk was also terrific. Reservation included a very good breakfast. And dinner in the restaurant was consistently good and was attended by a 5-star wait staff. And there's a huge pool. Just wow. Great value. Our go-to stop over in Istanbul from now on! [We avoid Mideast airports and choose Istanbul instead, when possible.]
