Sol Natura Hotel - Ollantaytambo
/We intended to be here October 6-9, 2023 in a deluxe king room for $76/night including breakfast. We had some difficulty flying into the nearby Cusco airport. Our first flight attempt was cancelled due to a mechanical issue with the plane. The second day was cancelled due to bad weather in Cusco. We made it on the third day and stayed just one night. We intended to acclimate to the elevation for a few days until we went up to Machu Pichu — a little bit higher. We ended up being at this place about 12 hours instead of three nights. It was a simple hotel close to the town square and the train station. Convenient enough. Helpful front desk!
