Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea
/It was a pity because we only stayed at this nice 5-star hotel on the Dead Sea for less than 10 hours. It was the end of the tour and our flight onward to Madrid required us to leave for the airport about 1 am. And we got here in the late afternoon. We don’t typically love big cavernous hotel properties like this (with a weird lobby) but at least Rich got to experience the mud treatment in the Dead Sea. Paul was literally too tired to drag his butt to the water’s edge and took a needed power nap before our farewell dinner buffet with Dr. Schock and Katie and the gang fro our small tour group. We tried and tried to find an alternative flight and should have just extended one more day for departing. Oh well.
